Ensemble Free Theater Norway is an international theater collective dedicated to the development of innovative new work.  Working on a project-by-project basis, EFTN creates new plays and devised  theater performances, collaborates with other artists and companies, and hosts workshops.  Cultural and educational exchanges between the United States and Scandinavia are of particular importance to EFTN.

Since its founding in July 2010 by Artistic Director Brendan McCall (USA), EFTN has presented its work in Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Belgium, Turkey, and the United States (New York, Chicago, Detroit).  It has also collaborated with institutions and companies from Norway, Denmark, Belarus, and the United States.
